- Made it up to Palm Beach yesterday morning close to 8am, left about 6:30am. Wind conditions from shore seemed to be calm, I was hesitant to go pier fishing because that usually doesn't bode well, however when we arrived, there was a light breeze about 5-8 miles out of the east.
- This made it almost ideal conditions, there was just enough ripple in the water.
- Great action on schooling bluefish 1-2 lb range, there was no shortage and they hit just about every lure you threw at them.
- They really seemed to favor fast lures worked near the top of the column and bottom fishing with cut bait didn't work at all, maybe due to the calm waters.
- Overall great fishing, we took our limit and plan them for the hickory smoker.
- A great morning and day with Mom and Gladys, very lucky it went our way.
Fishing the Florida waters, both fresh & salt Journals and logs of some of my favorite spots.
