Sunrise was 6:33am this morning. I left at 6am which was 15 minutes too late. Will leave 5:45am next time to catch the sunrise. Winds were way past 20mps. Very rough waters and tons of seaweed. I decided to take a pass and not deal with the annoying conditions. I'll try again near the end of the week.
The double drop, chicken rig worked extremely well again in these waters. The pink beads may have something to do with it, and the superb 1/0 offset hook also was great. Also the hookup hank brown style small sized lure is pretty good at catching the Goggle eyes and runners without bait. The predators just weren't there today, but still not too bad a day, for fish eating.
