Oldie pics with Capt Paul Oneil of West Palm. Paul is a true Fly Rodding fanatic. Absolutely no spin, plug or live baiting when you fish with him. We caught about 30 fish that morning casting against the weedlines and bridge, don't know how much easier fishing can be. We used 6 weights all day, but for these tiny peacocks, even a 4 weight would have been fine. Red/white seaducers sparesly tied was all we threw, I think that's the only fly Capt Oneil knew how to tie :) I seem to have done better in the Fall with the peacocks, maybe because it's that transition period, everyone raves about the spring and summer, but I didn't catch anymore during those months. For a novice flyfisherperson, I think the airports the way to go, just about anywhere you cast, there's a chance to get a bite, you won't catch any world records, but at least you'll have the numbers in your favor.
